A delicious and refreshing apple spinach smoothie made with everyday ingredients. With added hemp seed hearts for an extra creamy hit of protein and omega-3’s.
Peel and slice the banana. Chop and deseed the apple discarding the core. Peel and finely chop the ginger. The ingredients should be small enough that your blender can manage them easily.
1 medium banana, 1 apple
Place the chopped ingredients into your blender together with the spinach, hemp seeds and lemon juice. Add water then blend everything together until it becomes beautifully smooth and creamy.
1 handful of fresh leaf spinach, juice of half a lemon, 3 tablespoon hemp seeds hearts, 250 ml water
Pour your into a large glass to serve. Add more water for a thinner smoothie.
Notes
Instead of using a knife you can peel ginger using a teaspoon. For a thinner smoothie add more water to your preference.
