A dairy-free chocolate and hazelnut milkshake made that's rich, sweet, satiating and full of whole food goodness. If you’re looking for something chocolatey definitely give this a try.
Place the ingredients into your blender and blend until smooth. Wait for 15 minutes for the chia seeds to thicken the milkshakes then blend for a few seconds more to loosen the mix.
Pour your milkshake into 2 glasses.
Add a pinch of chopped hazelnuts and grated raw vegan chocolate to each glass before serving.
Notes
Personal taste is everything so make this recipe your own.For a thinner consistency, just use less chia seeds or leave them out altogether.If you prefer a sweeter milkshake add one more pitted date or a tablespoon of maple syrup to the recipe.If your dates are a little tough, soak them in pre-boiled hot water for 15 minutes before blending. Discard the soak water before using the dates.
